Best Hotel Revenue method ... take LinkedIN poll, Hoteliers

Just saw this interesting informal LinkedIN poll, created by Robert Dow, on the best method to generate revenue for hotels.  Answers include: Length of stay promotions, Lower best available rate, Advance purchase special rates, Credit for F&B, Opaque channel special rates.

Sad to see Bill Connors leave the NBTA

It is unfortunate for the National Business Travel Association (NBTA) to be losing Bill Connors as the executive director and COO.  Since 2003 when he joined, he has globalized the association and membership.  Bill is one of the most down-to-earth and intelligent leaders in the industry.  I remember when he nominated me to be a part of the NBTA Foundation and how proud I was to serve with such industry leaders.  When I've called him to help solve problems, he analyzed all angles and strategized on best positioning.    I will miss him and his thought leadership as part of NBTA.
